Motorcycle Tank Bag

One of the biggest reasons that I see most people needing a magnetic tank bag is so they can take it with them when they park their bikes. One of the biggest inconveniences however is when you have to carry your tank bag in one hand and your helmet in the other. But what if there was a tank bag that not only became a backpack but also allowed you to strap your helmet to it. That is what drew me to this tank bag. The icon urban tank bag will make it so you’re pretty much hands-free when off your bike.

A few other cool features are the four high power magnets which allow you to be at top speeds without worrying about your bag slipping off. It’s water resistant and also comes with a CD/MP3 compartment.

The price – at $95 you’re going to spend a little bit more for the convenience that this tank bag has to offer, but I personally think that anything under $100 for something like this is well worth your money. I’d say it really depends on what type of biker you are. If you just got your first bike and don’t even leave your city too often it may not be the best choice, but if you’re a serious biker then I would not bat an eye at $95.

What I like – I like the fact that the magnets are stronger than most. I move at top speeds and sometimes I do get concerned about the bag coming off when it’s only attached by a magnet. I also like how comfortable the straps are when you wear it as a backpack, very good design.

What I don’t like – when you are wearing it as a backpack and you want to stick your helmet on the back it just doesn’t feel natural. It’s a great design and well thought out but rarely will I actually put my helmet on the back. Although, it may be comfortable for you depending on your body type.

Would I buy this product again? I would probably buy this again, I do own it but only use it when I’m taking long rides. Not because I don’t like the bag, but mainly because I own a lot of them and it really depends on what I’m taking with me. Overall, the quality and design of this tank bag is superior to most on the market and you would be making a good decision by going with this one.
